[Sports Today Reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Japanese-born broadcaster and sign-language artist Saori will participate in a campaign supporting education for children with disabilities in observance of Disability Day.
On April 8, the Korea Foundation for the Disabled said in an official press release that Saori will take part in the foundation’s \”Inclusive\” campaign to support education for children with disabilities ahead of Disability Day (April 20).
The \”Inclusive\” campaign represents inclusion and acceptance, and embodies a pledge that every child, regardless of disability, should have equal access to learning without discrimination.
In the campaign video, Saori wears the campaign’s signature \”Inclusive bracelet\” and delivers a sign-language message encouraging people to participate, lending authenticity to the effort.
Saori said, \”I’m pleased to join this meaningful campaign for Disability Day. I hope that children with disabilities do not miss educational opportunities because of environmental constraints or financial burdens, and that they can pursue their dreams.\”
