With the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, U.S. host cities and base-camp towns are rolling out travel experiences you won’t want to miss. Think fan festivals, pop-up exhibits, live shows, foodie moments and hands-on activations—both inside stadiums and around town—designed to make your World Cup trip as much about culture and celebration as it is about soccer.

In Atlanta, Georgia, Centennial Olympic Park will be the heartbeat of the FIFA Fan Festival, with live performances, fan-driven activities and big-screen match broadcasts. From June 14 to July 14, the ATL Cultural Exchange will bring a lineup of performances, film screenings, exhibitions and workshops. And on June 20–21, the Atlanta BeltLine—the roughly 35-kilometer (about 21.7-mile) trail and park loop circling downtown—hosts the Atlanta BeltLine Fest, a neighborhood-sized party perfect for post-match hangs.

Boston will transform City Hall Plaza into a FIFA Fan Festival complete with live game feeds, soccer-themed installations and cultural performances. Watch parties and fan events—think Cambridge United, Fiesta de Fútbol and Field of Play—will pop up across neighborhoods. From June 12–18, Pierce Park II will feature a towering soccer-ball sculpture roughly 14 meters (about 46 feet) high, a dramatic backdrop for photos and meetups.

Dallas will host nine World Cup matches, and Dallas Fair Park will be home to a major FIFA Fan Festival where you can stream matches, catch live entertainment and soak up the fairground atmosphere. Museums like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, and the Arlington Museum will mount special exhibits that explore soccer’s cultural impact and sporting history.

In Houston, East Downtown will operate as the official FIFA Fan Festival site, pairing match viewing with interactive experiences. Look for the 360-degree immersive space Espera, the youth tournament Road to the Cup and community-driven programming. Local artists will also showcase work through the Art of Soccer campaign, blending sport and creativity.

Kansas City will pair its FIFA Fan Festival with live match screenings, concerts and neighborhood programs. The National World War I Museum and Memorial will stage The Beautiful Game, an exhibit exploring soccer’s unexpected ties to wartime history. Other local cultural hubs—the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and riverfront venues—will add World Cup–themed programming.

Los Angeles is leaning into fan zones and festival energy, offering match broadcasts, performances and cultural activations across the city. Taste of the World Cup highlights L.A.’s multicultural food scene, while institutions like the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the California Science Center present special exhibits that intersect sport with art and science.

Miami’s Bayfront Park will host the city’s FIFA Fan Festival, serving up live match feeds, cultural performances and standout food experiences. The FIFA Museum’s Unidad — The World Game exhibit will spotlight soccer’s global cultural influence, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami will explore the connection between sports and contemporary art.

As the final match pair, New York and New Jersey will offer official NYNJ fan events throughout the region. All five New York City boroughs will host match viewings, live performances and food-driven gatherings. Major cultural institutions—Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine—will also join the World Cup festivities with special programs.

Philadelphia’s FIFA Fan Festival will take place at Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park, featuring live match broadcasts, cultural performances and foodie stands. A vendor village will offer souvenirs and local bites, while the National Liberty Museum will present an exhibit about sport’s unifying power.

The San Francisco Bay Area will host six matches and a slate of official FIFA World Cup 2026 watch parties and fan zones. Roughly 30 Bay Area venues will stage watch parties and events, and San José’s opening weekend—hosted by the San Jose Earthquakes—will be filled with fan activations and special programming.

Seattle’s Seattle Soccer Celebration will combine match screenings with soccer clinics and entertainment. The Museum of History & Industry will present the immersive photo exhibit The Beautiful Game: How Soccer Connects Us All. Expect music, art and foodie pop-ups across Seattle Center and the World Table District during the tournament.

And the excitement won’t stop at host cities. Across the U.S., towns chosen as national-team base camps will roll out soccer-related programming. Frisco, Texas’s National Soccer Hall of Fame will spotlight the history and key figures of U.S. soccer, while Nashville, Spokane and Portland are planning concerts, watch parties and community soccer events to keep the World Cup energy buzzing.
