[Sports Seoul | Reporter Ham Sang-beom] ATEEZ member Mingi reveals his musical range.
Mingi released FIX OFF Desire Project: ORIGIN today (May 11) at 6 p.m.
The FIX OFF Desire Project collects songs Mingi wrote himself, offering a window into the songwriting craft he has honed over years and reinforcing his identity as a singer-songwriter.
In 2024, he launched the project with the self-composed track “Tunnel,” which drew enthusiastic responses from fans worldwide. Last year, he followed with “AUTOBAHN” and “ROAR,” further sharpening his distinct musical voice.
FIX OFF Desire Project: ORIGIN features seven tracks—previously released material alongside new songs—that together trace a cohesive arc shaped by Mingi’s assertive rapping.
Three new additions include a techno-tinged FIX ON version of “Adrenaline,” “NOVA,” a reimagined take on “ROAR” that blends grit with dreamlike textures, and “Dinero,” driven by heavy bass and an infectious hook.
Notable collaborators—hip-hop veteran Gaeko of Dynamic Duo, rising rapper Royal 44, and Yoon Min, vocalist of the Korean band TOUCHED—lend their talents to enrich the project’s sound.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ will launch their 2026 fan meeting, “ATINY’S VOYAGE: TINY MYSTERY,” with three performances at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, July 17–19. intellybeast@sportsseoul.com
