Alpha Economy — Lee Go-eun: Stray Kids has released “In The Dark,” a new collaboration with world-renowned DJ Snake, capturing the attention of music fans around the globe.
“In The Dark” is featured on DJ Snake’s new album, Nomad, and was released worldwide at midnight on Nov. 7. Observers say the track marries Stray Kids’ signature intensity with DJ Snake’s wide-ranging production, producing a potent musical synergy.
The artists first connected at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, a 2024 charity event in Paris. After about a year of preparation, the collaboration was unveiled and drew an immediate, enthusiastic response. DJ Snake said he was honored to work with Stray Kids, whom he credited with having a major impact on the K-pop scene.
Stray Kids have further cemented their status as a global top act this year. Their fourth studio album, KARMA, released last August, made Billboard 200 history by becoming the first artist in the chart’s 70-year history to have seven consecutive albums debut at No. 1. On the Nov. 8 chart, the album climbed to No. 86, becoming the first K-pop album released in 2025—and the group’s third overall—to spend 10 straight weeks in the Billboard 200’s top 100.
Stray Kids are set to return on the 21st at 2 p.m. with the new album SKZ IT TAPE, featuring double title tracks “DO IT” and “Fresh Play.” The record aims to capture the group’s most intense and unmistakable mood to date and raises expectations for new musical directions.
