[mdtoday = Reporter Yang Jeong-eui] Singer Park Jae-beom and the idol group he produced, LONG SHOT, will release their joint mixtape, 4SHOBOIZ Vol. 2: 4SHOVILLE, at 6 p.m. on May 18.
MoreVision said the project is intended to maximize the musical synergy between Park and LONG SHOT.
The mixtape builds on the earlier 4SHOBOIZ MIXTAPE, delivering a grittier, more intense sound this time around. MoreVision added that the release will lean into the group’s signature energy and free-spirited aesthetic.
In a newly released group photo, Park and the members of LONG SHOT expressed their personalities through contrasting color palettes and bold accessories. Their relaxed poses suggested that, beyond the manager-artist relationship, they operate as a unified team under the 4SHOBOIZ banner.
LONG SHOT is a boy band Park Jae-beom put together that blends hip-hop and R&B. They debuted in January with the EP SHOT CALLERS and have continued to grow an international following with the follow-up single “Training Day.”
The mixtape is a collaborative effort between Park and LONG SHOT, and industry observers expect it to highlight a distinct musical chemistry and a fresh performance approach.
