[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] SEVENTEEN’s main vocalist Seungkwan and singer Gummy will release their duet \”Spring Like You\” on the 24th.
\”Spring Like You\” captures both the thrill and the bittersweet ache that come with a change of seasons. The two vocalists’ subtle emotional lines intertwine, amplifying the song’s lyrical mood.
On the new track, Gummy’s delicate expressiveness and Seungkwan’s rich, resonant tone combine to evoke the sensibility of spring. Seungkwan said he joined the project at Gummy’s invitation and called the collaboration meaningful.
An early preview clip — featuring the line \”Like spring, you are a dazzling dream to me\” and the singers’ honeyed voices — drew attention from fans around the world.
Seungkwan and Gummy are scheduled to appear together on KBS2’s April 24 broadcast of The Seasons, hosted by Sung Si-kyung, and listeners are already curious to hear their onstage harmony.
Seungkwan has demonstrated a broad musical range through solo work and collaborations with artists such as AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun, Choi Yu-ri and rapper Lee Young-ji. He has tackled a variety of genres, and his performance of \”Juice\” with Lee Young-ji has surpassed 12 million views.
His duet with BTOB’s Seo Eun-kwang and his appearance as the youngest contestant on MBC’s Duet Song Festival highlighted his aptitude for blending with other male vocalists. Critics have praised him as an artist who communicates through song.
Seungkwan further raised his profile through a unit with teammate Dokyeom. Their songs \”Blue\” and \”Feel Me\” performed well on domestic and international charts, and their most recent single reached No. 1 on daily popular song charts.
He continues to stay active on stage. From the 17th to the 19th at Incheon Inspire Arena, he drew about 24,000 spectators. He will present \”DxS Soyagok ON STAGE\” across several cities — Chiba on the 29th–30th, Daegu on May 30–31, Macau on June 6, and Kaohsiung on July 25 — and is also set to perform at the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026 on May 22.
