SPOTV News — Lee Ji-hoon, known from the series “Our Ballad,” is preparing for his official industry debut in partnership with veteran songwriter and producer Yoon Jong-shin.
Lee Ji-hoon’s debut single, “A Good Person” (괜찮은 사람), is scheduled for release at 6 p.m. on the 20th. The song was written and composed by Yoon Jong-shin and offers a tender, consoling message for those who have lost their sense of self-worth. At its core is the line, “You were enough then, and you still are,” delivered with sincere warmth and empathy.
On the 17th, agency SM C&C posted the second music-video teaser for “A Good Person” on its official YouTube channel.
The teaser opens against a vast cosmic backdrop, showing Lee Ji-hoon from behind as he gazes at a distant planet. It then cuts to close-ups of him strumming a guitar and singing; his plain yet affecting voice is layered over the imagery, creating a resonant, intimate mood.
The scene shifts to the streets of Seoul at night, where actor Yoo Seung-mok — who appeared in the first teaser — makes an appearance. Running along a road, he becomes absorbed in the music; his subtle facial expressions, paired with the song’s gentle melody, give the sequence a cinematic quality.
Linking two characters in different settings through a shared song leaves a strong impression despite the teaser’s brief runtime. The storyline, which conveys comfort that seems to transcend time and space, lingers and builds anticipation for both the full track and the complete music video.
Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hoon will perform in the “Our Ballad” Top 6 concerts at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Bangi-dong, Seoul on May 9 and 10. Staged during Korea’s Family Month, the shows will span classic ballads and new material, promising warm, memorable performances for the audience.
