[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Sseshibong reflected on their final performance on ‘Geumta-neun Friday.’
On the April 3 episode of TV Chosun’s variety show ‘Geumta-neun Friday,’ the Sseshibong family delivered their final on-air performance.
The group opened the show with the New Zealand folk song “Pokarekare Ana,” an elegant acoustic guitar arrangement that captivated the audience.
Kim Seong-ju said, “Today is a special occasion. This will be Sseshibong’s final performance on the broadcast.” He added, “I lost sleep preparing for today’s recording. This is our last chance to see it together.”
Yoon Hyung-ju said, “We’ve received so much love over the years. The girls sitting here used to be middle and high school students. We wanted to show our gratitude, so we decided to hold our final performance on this broadcast for them.”
He added that he had also suggested closing the run together with younger performers — a gesture that moved the cast of ‘Geumta-neun Friday.’
