President Donald Trump lashed out at rock star Bruce Springsteen, long known as a prominent anti-Trump voice in the U.S. entertainment industry.
On the 2nd (local time), Trump posted on his social platform Truth Social, calling Springsteen “terrible” and “extremely boring,” and saying he looks like a “shriveled plum” who was badly treated by a plastic surgeon.
He also alleged that Springsteen has long suffered from a “Trump seizure syndrome,” which he described as horrible and incurable.
Trump urged MAGA — the president’s most ardent supporters — to boycott Springsteen’s “ridiculously expensive” concerts and to “save their hard‑earned money.”
Widely regarded as a living legend of American rock, Springsteen recently released a new song, “Streets of Minneapolis,” condemning the killing of a U.S. citizen by immigration enforcement in Minneapolis and using blunt language to criticize the Trump administration.
He performed the song on the 28th of last month during the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations — billed as the largest of their kind — which were organized to criticize President Trump.
