BTS members Jimin and Jungkook told Choo Sung-hoon that open communication and mutual understanding are the foundation of the group’s teamwork.
On April 2, Choo Sung-hoon’s YouTube channel posted a video featuring the host with BTS members Jimin and Jungkook.
In the segment, Choo asked how the group has sustained strong teamwork over 13 years since their 2013 debut. Jimin replied, “It’s okay to fight, but talking is the most important thing.” He explained that even after disputes they always sit down and talk about why the argument happened, a habit they developed during their trainee days. Jungkook added, “We make a clear distinction between right and wrong. Consideration is important, but we’ve tried to be more understanding of one another.”
Jimin went on to praise the bond within the group, saying, “The team is really incredible. At this point, we can almost tell what each other is thinking with a single breath — we can even tell whether someone is in a good mood.” His comments drew attention.
Meanwhile, BTS released their fifth studio album, Arirang, on March 20 and are currently promoting its lead single, “Swim.”
