[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Blackpink member Rosé walked away with two trophies at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
On the 26th (local time) in Los Angeles, at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Rosé won Best Collaboration and K-Pop Artist of the Year for her duet with Bruno Mars, “APT.”
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, hosted by the U.S.’s largest online radio broadcaster iHeartRadio since 2014, honors the songs and artists most played on its stations and across iHeartRadio’s apps and platforms over the year. Rosé added another trophy to “APT”‘s ongoing run of accolades.
Released in October 2024, Rosé’s duet with Bruno Mars shattered records across global charts. The song won Song of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards — the first time a K-pop artist took that prize — and it made history with nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards, marking the first K-pop nominations in those top categories.
Rosé also became the first — and so far only — K-pop artist to receive nominations in both group and solo categories at the U.K.’s prestigious BRIT Awards, and she went on to win, adding another milestone to K-pop’s achievements. With these honors, Rosé has earned recognition across the most respected English-language award stages.
Her debut full-length album, rosie, released in December 2024, generated immediate buzz. Rosé co-wrote and co-composed every track; rosie debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and went on to chart for 27 consecutive weeks, setting records for both the highest peak and the longest run by a K-pop female artist. Beyond candidly sharing her own stories through self-penned songs, she widened her musical palette by incorporating a variety of genres on the album.
Rosé plans to continue exploring diverse musical projects in 2026.
