[Sports Today Reporter Lim Si-ryeong] A fresh remix of BTS’s \”SWIM\” has arrived.
BTS released the remix album ‘KEEP SWIMMING’ at 1 p.m. on the 27th. The nine-track record features the title track \”SWIM\” from their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ (released on the 20th), an instrumental, and seven remixes—each reworked to reflect the individual musical direction of the group’s seven members.
RM fused the original with chill hip‑hop, giving \”SWIM\” a softer, more relaxed vibe. Jin injected driving energy through an alternative rock take that blends Brit‑rock and punk. Suga added depth with a melodic techno remix that foregrounds layered club sonics.
J‑Hope delivers an Afrobeat version anchored by Latin‑tinged guitar and piano lines, creating an exotic groove. Jimin’s slow‑jam R&B interpretation layers soulful guitar, silky keys, and buoyant drums, balancing sensuality with feeling.
V elevates the track’s sophistication with an electronic remix built on punchy bass and reimagined textures. Jungkook amplifies the song’s inherent warmth with acoustic lo‑fi guitar and a cozy vocal approach.
At 4 p.m. on the 27th, the documentary film ‘BTS: THE RETURN’ premieres on Netflix. The film follows the group as they work on new music for the first time in roughly 3 years and 9 months, documenting the doubts they faced and the process that shaped the BTS of today.
Meanwhile, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 in Los Angeles on the 27th, BTS collected several honors. J‑Hope won Favorite TikTok Dance for his solo single \”MONA LISA\” and later secured Favorite K‑pop Collab for \”Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),\” earning him two trophies. The Disney+ original series ‘Is This Right?!’ Season 2, starring Jimin and Jungkook, won Favorite On Screen; the series chronicles the pair’s unpredictable friendship trip to Switzerland and Vietnam.
