[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] SBS’s special concert project “Inkigayo ON THE GO” has unveiled its first lineup.
Inkigayo ON THE GO, scheduled for April 26 at Paradise City in Incheon, is a special extension of SBS’s flagship music program, Inkigayo. The project aims to recreate the energy of live broadcasts from SBS’s Deungchon-dong public hall while adopting a “we go where the fans are” concept, bringing the show directly to K-pop audiences. Moving beyond studio-centered broadcasts, it promises an expanded, on-site performance format where fans and artists can connect in person for a new viewing experience.
The initial lineup features seven acts: Tomorrow X Together, Xdinary Heroes, &TEAM, NCT WISH, KickFlip, Cortis, and MODYSSEY. The bill combines globally popular acts with rising newcomers, promising a vibrant spring showcase. April is typically packed with artist comebacks, so this season’s comeback roster looks particularly full, heightening anticipation for Inkigayo ON THE GO.
The project translates the staging and production systems of a televised music show into a concert-style format. Attendees can expect a close-up look at how a live music program is produced, along with unique moments of interaction with the artists.
Inkigayo ON THE GO will air live on SBS on the afternoon of April 26. Additional performers will be announced throughout April.
