K-pop girl group If I’s Sasha to take hiatus
Hihet Entertainment, the agency representing If I, announced on the 3rd that Sasha, a member of the rising K-pop girl group, will be taking a break from group activities due to health concerns. After extensive discussions with Sasha regarding her future in the group, the company has decided to prioritize her well-being.
“Moving forward, If I will continue their scheduled activities as a five-member unit,” the agency stated. “We will keep fans informed of any changes and are committed to ensuring Sasha can return to her supporters in good health when the time is right.”
This announcement follows a previous statement from Hihet Entertainment in January, which revealed that Sasha had been experiencing accumulated psychological fatigue from her ongoing activities. At that time, the agency reported that medical professionals had recommended she take sufficient rest.
While the company initially planned to reassess Sasha’s return based on her recovery progress, the prolonged nature of her hiatus has now left her comeback date uncertain.
