BTS fans can mark their calendars for the 23rd, as ticket reservations open for the group’s free concert at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square. This highly anticipated event marks BTS’s official comeback as a complete ensemble, following a hiatus of nearly 3 years and 9 months due to military service obligations.
Big Hit Music, the powerhouse behind BTS, has announced that ‘BTS Comeback Live: Arirang’ will light up Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st of next month at 8 PM. This free concert celebrates the release of their fifth studio album, ‘Arirang’, promising an unforgettable experience for lucky attendees.
The ticketing process will be two-pronged: general admission free tickets and a special lottery for ARMY members with paid memberships. The general public can try their luck for free tickets starting at 8 PM on the 23rd through the NOL Ticket platform, with no strings attached. For die-hard fans, a separate lottery will be held for those who purchase the new album during the application period. Winners will be randomly selected to receive coveted spots at the concert. Fans can find all the nitty-gritty details on the Weverse fan platform and NOL Ticket website.
In a groundbreaking move, Netflix will be streaming the concert live to over 190 countries and regions, marking the streaming giant’s first-ever live broadcast of a single artist’s performance.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. BTS will drop their fifth studio album, ‘Arirang’, on February 20th, just a day before the concert. Adding to the frenzy, ‘BTS The City Arirang Seoul’ will transform the capital into a BTS wonderland until April 12th, offering fans an immersive experience beyond the music.
