Jennie’s Influence: The Surprising Way BLACKPINK’s Star Impacted Korean History Test Scores

BLACKPINK’s Jennie unexpectedly helps students ace Korean history exam.
Following the 77th Korean History Proficiency Test on the 7th, social media buzzed with students crediting Jennie for their correct answers.
One question about Silla-era artifacts sparked memories of the K-pop star, leading to successful responses.
“I was about to give up, but then I thought of Jennie,” one test-taker shared. Another quipped, “It’s like Jennie whispered the answer to question four.”

The Jennie connection stems from her ‘ZEN’ music video, a pre-release track from her solo album ‘RUBY’ launched last year.
Jennie’s striking V-shaped metallic outfit in the video, which drew inspiration from the Silla gold crown, became a talking point.
The costume designer explained, “We envisioned Jennie as a ‘Wonhwa,’ a term for Silla’s female leaders. The design was inspired by the ‘Jujak’ motif from Silla’s gold crown, symbolizing soaring beauty.”
In other news, BLACKPINK, including Jennie, is set to drop their mini-album ‘DEADLINE’ on the 27th. The release will feature five tracks, with ‘GO’ as the lead single.
