K-pop sensation BTS is set to offer approximately 15,000 seats for their highly anticipated full-group comeback concert at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square next month.
Industry insiders revealed on the 10th that organizers are planning to accommodate around 15,000 fans in both standing and seated areas for the “BTS Comeback Live: Arirang” event on March 21. Discussions with Seoul city officials are ongoing, with a focus on maximizing capacity while prioritizing safety measures.
This free concert celebrates the release of BTS’s fifth studio album, “Arirang.” The septet is expected to make a grand entrance through Gyeongbokgung Palace, proceeding through Gwanghwamun and Woldae before taking the stage at the northern end of Gwanghwamun Square.
The group announced via their fan platform Weverse that 2,000 lucky fans who pre-order the new album by March 13 will receive standing area tickets. The released seating chart reveals a T-shaped stage with an extended runway.
The standing section will encircle the protruding stage, with seated areas behind. Designated seat reservations will be available through NOL Ticket starting March 23.
To accommodate the overflow crowd, organizers are considering installing large screens near Seoul Plaza, allowing ticketless fans and the general public to experience the event.

Law enforcement estimates a turnout of 230,000 people from the main stage to Deoksugung’s Daehanmun, potentially swelling to 260,000 extending to Sungnyemun.
Big Hit Music, BTS’s management company, emphasized that this free concert aims to seamlessly integrate music and culture into citizens’ daily lives.
The event will be livestreamed exclusively on Netflix, reaching audiences in over 190 countries and regions.
BTS is slated to drop their fifth studio album “Arirang” on March 20. The 14-track collection delves into universal themes of identity, longing, and profound love, showcasing the group’s artistic evolution.
