Sky Intelligence Expands into Automotive Marketing: How AI is Revolutionizing Ford and Lincoln Ads

KOSDAQ-listed Sky Worldwide (357880, SKAI) is expanding its reach into automotive marketing through its affiliate, Sky Intel Corporation Regions. This move aims to broaden the commercial applications of physical AI technology in the automotive sector.

Sky Intel Corporation Regions, a leader in AI-driven 3D content and digital twin technology, has won a competitive bid to become the marketing content production agency for FL Auto Korea Company through 2026. The contract tasks the company with creating main campaign videos and images for key Ford and Lincoln models by year-end.

FL Auto Korea, formerly known as Ford Sales Service Korea, is responsible for distributing and marketing Ford and Lincoln brands in South Korea. The selection of Sky Intel Corporation Regions as a key content production partner comes as the company repositions its brands and ramps up marketing efforts, attracting significant industry attention.

Sky Intel Corporation Regions leverages its expertise in robotic 3D capture technology, generative AI, and physically based rendering (PBR) to create high-precision 3D vehicle content. This approach can replace or complement traditional filming, boosting efficiency in automotive advertising by mitigating challenges related to location scouting, permits, vehicle logistics, and weather dependencies.

The automotive industry is known for its demanding visual requirements, including complex body curves, reflections, and material textures. Sky Intel Corporation Regions has successfully adapted its technology, honed through collaborations with premium brands in cosmetics, fashion, food and beverage, and electronics, to meet the unique needs of the automotive sector.

This project demonstrates the versatility of a production infrastructure that can be applied across industries requiring high-precision 3D implementation and consistent brand visual management. However, industry experts suggest that a hybrid approach combining traditional filming with AI-based production may remain prevalent, tailored to specific brand strategies and campaign objectives.

Han Dong-kyun, head of Sky Intel Corporation Regions’ business division, explained, “Automotive advertising involves numerous complexities, from obtaining filming permits to managing professional drivers, large crews, and ensuring safety, all of which drive up costs and extend timelines. Our approach combines a specialized creative team with AI-based 3D production methods, enhancing efficiency while expanding creative possibilities for the FL Auto Korea project.”

Moving forward, Sky Intel Corporation Regions plans to refine its content production techniques by integrating digital twins with generative AI. This advancement aims to create an environment capable of producing large-scale marketing assets more rapidly and precisely. The company’s strategy is to validate the commercial viability of physical AI in industries demanding sophisticated visual representation, starting with the automotive sector.
