4×4 Engineering Services has unveiled two new products: the “Competition Lock Nut” for wheel theft prevention and the “Rear Side Garnish End Plus” specifically designed for the re-released Land Cruiser 70 model.
The Competition Lock Nut matches the material and color of the existing “Competition Lug Nut,” ensuring a seamless appearance when installed. Its unique structure makes removal nearly impossible without a specialized adapter, providing robust protection against wheel theft. Available in M12×1.5 and M14×1.5 sizes, these lock nuts are compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including domestic models from Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and Honda, as well as various Land Cruiser models (100/200/300 series), the Land Cruiser 70 (M14 variants), and the Lexus LX.

Crafted from SCM435 forged chromoly steel with a black finish, the lock nuts measure 48mm in length with a 19mm hex head. A set of four lock nuts retails for 6,600 JPY (44.22 USD), while combination packs of lock nuts and standard nuts are available. The M12 sets come in 20-piece (23,265 JPY or 155.88 USD) and 24-piece (27,225 JPY or 182.41 USD) options, with identical pricing for the M14 variants. The company notes that these lock nuts complement their wheel lines, including the Bradley Forged Takumi, Bradley V, and Air/G Series. Deliveries are slated to begin in April, with pre-orders now open.
Meanwhile, the Rear Side Garnish End Plus, tailored for the re-released Land Cruiser 70 (GDJ76), garnered significant attention at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon. Unlike its predecessor, which required modifications for GDJ76 fitment, this new product is a ground-up redesign that installs without any alterations to the vehicle.

The garnish protects exposed body ends when aftermarket bumpers are installed and enhances integration with the factory over-fenders. Constructed from AES resin, known for its excellent weather and impact resistance, it closely mimics the texture of the original fenders. Additionally, it offers body protection during off-road excursions.
Priced at 42,900 JPY (287.43 USD) for a left and right set, the Rear Side Garnish End Plus is now available for purchase through the company’s official online store.
