On the morning of the 14th, TV Chosun held a press event at its Gasan-dong studio in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul to introduce its new variety show, “Miss Trot For You.” Chief producer Min Byung-ju and director Lim Ji-hoon attended alongside performers Boom, Ahn Seong-hoon, Lee So-na, Heo Chan-mi, Hong Seong-yun, Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Tae-hwa, Yoon Yun-seo and Yeom Yu-ri. Lee, who captured the crown on Miss Trot 4, said she feels the weight of responsibility that comes with being the titleholder: “As the winner, I honestly feel the greatest pressure and responsibility.”
She added, “I have to sing well for my partner. This is my first regular program, and I hope the Top 7’s appeal comes through. I’m doing my best to make sure no one is eliminated.”
Meanwhile, “Miss Trot For You,” a duet competition featuring the Top 7 from Miss Trot 4, premieres today. The series airs Thursdays at 10 p.m.
