EXO’s highly anticipated reality show, “EXO’s Ladder Ride Around the World,” is set to premiere today (4th), marking a thrilling return for the K-pop sensation.
The fifth season of this fan-favorite series promises an exciting twist as the group embarks on a luck-driven adventure across Jeju Island, with their itinerary determined by the whims of a ladder game. Viewers can catch the action every Wednesday for six weeks, starting with tonight’s 8 p.m. debut on Mnet and Wavve.
The season opener kicks off with EXO revamping their game rules, raising the stakes for their island escapade. Fans can look forward to a delectable “Taste of the Sea” mukbang that hilariously reveals the group’s pecking order, followed by a heartwarming visit to a theme park that stirs up childhood nostalgia.
Adding to the entertainment, the boys engage in a quick-fire liar game between segments. Expect plenty of playful accusations as members eye each other suspiciously, and empathize with the unlucky member who wonders if they’re simply not cut out for Jeju life.
The camaraderie is palpable as EXO members express their joy at being together, showcasing their strengthened bond. With immersive challenges and impromptu skits based on their “ladder-assigned ages,” viewers are in for a laughter-packed ride.
Global fans needn’t worry about missing out. The show will stream simultaneously on various international platforms, including KOCOWA+ in the Americas, Europe, and Oceania, U-NEXT in Japan, friDay Video in Taiwan, and True Visions Now in Thailand. For those who prefer YouTube, episodes will be available on the SMTOWN Friends channel a week after their initial release.
