Buk‑gu in Daegu is launching a campaign to showcase its tourist spots and foodie favorites through the end of September.
Officials are centering the effort at Banwoldang Station, which sees roughly 42,000 people a day. Under the theme “Play, Eat and Enjoy in Buk‑gu,” the campaign will highlight four signature local attractions.
The ads use high‑resolution images to showcase △ Kumho River Auto Camping Site — a riverside glamping spot in the city △ Hajungdo — a photogenic island that’s perfect for leveling up your profile picture △ Chimsanjeong’s cherry‑blossom stone steps — drenched in spectacular sunset light △ Chilseong Night Market — where lively performances meet irresistible late‑night street food.
QR codes linking to nearby “food alley” guides are also embedded so visitors can pull up local dining options on their smartphones.
Buk‑gu District Mayor Bae Gwang‑sik said, “We wanted to visually convey Buk‑gu’s beauty to the many residents and tourists who pass through Banwoldang Station, the heart of Daegu.”
