[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel and Lee Mu-jin have jetted off to Ethiopia.
MBC Every1’s The Great Guide is a travel reality show that sends its cast on blind trips relying solely on guidebooks written by foreigners from places most travelers wouldn’t think to visit. After memorable stops in Rwanda, Argentina and Jordan, the series has become a signature hit for the network.
Now, The Great Guide 3 is stirring excitement with a dream team—Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel and Lee Mu-jin—set to return in the first half of 2026.
Ahead of the season launch, producers revealed Ethiopia as the first destination. Known as the birthplace of coffee and home to more UNESCO World Heritage sites than any other country in Africa, Ethiopia promises sweeping landscapes, deep historical roots and vibrant cultural diversity—everything a standout travel season needs. Fans are already buzzing to see how the cast will explore this captivating country.
On the 7th, the production team released photos of Park, Kim, Choi and Lee departing from Incheon Airport. As always, Park Myung-soo showed up in his trademark unfiltered style; Kim Dae-ho, the nature-loving guide, wore his earnest dedication to the show on his sleeve; and Choi Daniel and Lee Mu-jin were all smiles, their grins practically contagious. The show’s signature brotherly chemistry was in full effect.
One shot, however, only featured Park, Choi and Lee—Kim Dae-ho was missing from the group photo, sparking curiosity. While the trio beamed together, Kim stood alone in a quieter corner of the terminal, looking slightly uneasy—his eyes betraying a nervous flutter—creating a striking contrast that made everyone wonder what was going on before takeoff.
Producers confirmed that Park, Kim, Choi and Lee recently departed for Ethiopia, the first stop of The Great Guide 3. Having worked together on past seasons, the foursome broke into quick-witted banter right at the airport. The team praised their can’t-miss chemistry and asked viewers to look forward to—and cheer on—the cast’s special, joy-filled journey through Ethiopia, one of Africa’s hidden gems.
MBC Every1’s The Great Guide 3, following Park Myung-soo, Kim Dae-ho, Choi Daniel and Lee Mu-jin on their Ethiopian adventure, is slated to air in the first half of 2026.
