[MyDaily = Reporter Kim Jong-guk] Kim Min-jae soaked up the spotlight at Bayern Munich’s celebration after clinching the Bundesliga title.
Bayern Munich held its 2025–26 Bundesliga title ceremony at Munich City Hall on the afternoon of the 17th (Korean time). Kim Min-jae was the 11th Bayern player to step out onto the city hall balcony and received the Meisterschale from Raimer. He hoisted the trophy high, drawing loud cheers from the Bayern supporters gathered in the square below.
Kim featured in 25 Bundesliga matches this season and emerged as one of Bayern’s defensive pillars during their title run. After winning the Bundesliga with Bayern this season—following last season’s success—Kim added to an impressive resume that includes helping Napoli to the 2022–23 Serie A crown. He became the first Korean in history to win titles in more than one of Europe’s top five leagues, and this marked his third championship across Europe’s big five competitions. Kim celebrated with teammates after the season finale against Köln at Munich’s Allianz Arena on the 16th, then carried the festivities to City Hall the next day.
Bayern closed the season with a 28–5–1 record, securing the Bundesliga with four matches to spare. It was the club’s 35th league title and a second consecutive championship. The team’s explosive attack produced 122 goals this season, setting a new single-season Bundesliga scoring record. Bayern now turns its attention to the DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart on the 23rd as it chases a domestic double.
