Daniel Kim Views
In a matchup between teams that drew attention with an in-season trade, BNK swept the series 2-0.
On May 16 at LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul, during Game 2 of Match 2 of Round 2 of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, blue-side BNK PeerX picked Olaf, Naafiri, Cassiopeia, Yunara and Milio, while red-side Nongshim RedForce selected Gnar, Nocturne, Galio, Kog’Maw and Lulu.
Nongshim grabbed the first dragon and used that momentum to win skirmishes leading into a pivotal fight. They kept up the pressure, stacking three dragons, but BNK denied the dragon soul and kept the gold gap from ballooning as they stayed within striking distance.
At 27 minutes, BNK turned the tides by winning a team fight that netted four kills and sparked their comeback, also securing another dragon. By the 34-minute mark, BNK had matched Nongshim’s dragon stack, won the follow-up engagements, claimed Baron, and then pushed into the enemy base to destroy the Nexus and close out the match 2-0.
