CHEONGDAM — Coaches and key players from each club laid out their plans at the 2025–2026 V-League postseason media day.
The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) held the Jin Air 2025–2026 V-League postseason media day on the 20th at Hotel Rivera Cheongdam in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Representatives from all teams that qualified for the spring postseason attended the playoff media day, adding energy to the event.
In the men’s division, top-seeded Korean Air was represented by coach Henan Dal Joto and Han Seon-su; No. 2 Hyundai Capital sent coach Philippe Blain and Hwang Seung-bin; No. 3 KB Insurance was represented by acting coach Ha Hyun-yong and Na Kyung-bok; and No. 4 Woori Card sent acting coach Park Cheol-woo and Han Tae-joon.
In the women’s division, No. 1 Korea Expressway brought coach Kim Jong-min and Bae Yu-na; No. 2 Hyundai E&C sent coach Kang Seong-hyung and Yang Hyo-jin; No. 3 GS Caltex was represented by coach Lee Young-taek and Kwon Min-ji; and No. 4 Heungkuk Life sent coach Yoshihara Tomoko and Lee Da-hyun.
At the event, each coach outlined their team’s goals heading into the spring postseason.
Top-seeded Korean Air rolled out the slogan Engine Start! Jumbos Take Off! Hyundai Capital countered with Keep The Dream Alive!
KB Insurance rallied behind Soar, KB, while Woori Card adopted Full speed to the championship.

Players also expressed confidence heading into the playoffs.
Na Kyung-bok of KB Insurance said, \”I think our team’s biggest strength is our serving. When the serve is on, everyone can strike aggressively.\”
Han Seon-su of Korean Air added, \”We don’t rely on a single player. We play as a unit, which makes us a very stable team.\”
Hwang Seung-bin of Hyundai Capital emphasized, \”Our strength is a powerful offense that can mask weaknesses. We also have structure and discipline, so I believe we can win.\”
Finally, Han Tae-joon of Woori Card said, \”We play exciting, fun volleyball. When we’re playing with that energy, our level rises, and I believe we can go very far.\”

The women’s teams also voiced their playoff intentions.
Top-seeded Korea Expressway unveiled the slogan Whose championship? Expressway’s! Hyundai E&C stuck with As we’ve always done, to the end; GS Caltex declared, We aim higher with hot energy; and Heungkuk Life used One Team, Hard Work.
As much attention as the playoff race itself is focused on living legend Yang Hyo-jin’s impending retirement.
Yang will step away from the court after this season, making this postseason her final spring run as a player.
On her farewell, Yang said, \”I don’t feel anything special. I want to do what I’ve always done through the end. Because this really is my last time, I’ll make sure to finish well,\” displaying a determined resolve.
