BTS has remained inside the top three on Billboard’s Global charts for five consecutive weeks.
Billboard’s latest charts, dated May 2 and released April 28, show “SWIM,” the title track from BTS’s fifth studio album Arirang, at No. 2 on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart and No. 3 on the Global 200. All 13 vocal tracks—excluding a recording of the Seongdeokdaewang Sinjong bell—charted on both lists, extending the album’s sustained run.

The album also strengthened BTS’s standing on Billboard’s main charts. Arirang rose to No. 4 on the Billboard 200, while “SWIM” reached No. 22 on the Hot 100. Another album track, “Body to Body,” stayed on the Hot 100 at No. 95 for a fifth straight week. Arirang placed No. 3 on Top Album Sales, No. 7 on Top Streaming Albums and No. 8 on Vinyl Albums. “SWIM” climbed to No. 4 on Digital Song Sales, giving the release a presence across a wide range of charts.
Japan’s reception has been similarly strong. On April 29, Oricon reported that Arirang reclaimed No. 1 on the Weekly Digital Album Ranking (dated May 4) after five weeks. Since debuting at No. 1 on March 30, the album has remained in the top five for six consecutive weeks.
BTS has continued to rack up certifications worldwide. Italy’s music industry association FIMI said the new release sold more than 25,000 units, earning Gold (ORO) certification in week 17 of 2026 — the group’s sixth such certification, following LOVE YOURSELF: ANSWER; MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA; MAP OF THE SOUL: 7; BE; and Proof.
Spain’s official music sales site EPDM also certified the album Gold for selling over 20,000 units in week 17 of 2026. In France, the Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP) awarded Arirang Platinum based on combined physical sales, downloads and streaming equivalents totaling roughly 100,000 units. Arirang is enjoying broad popularity across Europe.
