BTS topped Billboard’s Global (Excluding U.S.) chart for the sixth time with ‘SWIM’.

Billboard’s latest chart, dated May 23 and released on May 19, shows that BTS’s title track ‘SWIM’ from their fifth studio album ARIRANG held the No. 1 spot on the Global (Excluding U.S.) chart for a second consecutive week.
With this, BTS has claimed the top spot on that chart six times this year, surpassing Taylor Swift’s record for most No. 1s. The group also remained at No. 2 on the Global 200 for a third straight week. Thirteen of their vocal tracks have stayed on both charts for eight consecutive weeks.
On the main album chart, the Billboard 200, ARIRANG sits at No. 8, keeping it in the top 10 for eight weeks. The album also placed No. 5 on Top Album Sales and reached No. 16 on both Top Streaming Albums and Vinyl Albums.
‘SWIM’ reappeared on the Hot 100 at No. 34, marking its eighth straight week on the main songs chart. It also showed strong radio presence across formats — Adult Contemporary (No. 16), Pop Airplay (No. 11), Adult Pop Airplay (No. 18) and Radio Songs (No. 29) — reflecting broad public appeal.
For the second consecutive week, four BTS albums charted on World Albums. Proof, released in 2022, climbed one spot to No. 3 and extended its run to 205 weeks, underscoring its enduring popularity. The Japanese studio album MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~ landed at No. 11, LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’ at No. 16, and the mini-album LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘HER’ at No. 25.
