(The CEN News / Reporter An Seo-yeon) BigHit Music is launching HIT IT BASE 2026, a hip-hop training program for teenagers passionate about music.
Open to male students born between 2008 and 2016, the program offers systematic, professional hip-hop education at no cost to participants.
Applications are accepted online via the BigHit Music audition website from the 18th through June 28. Applicants should submit a short video that showcases themselves and a single front-facing photo. Video submissions can include a rap performance, a motivation and self-introduction clip, or a selfie-style video introducing a favorite hip-hop track.
Following final selection, 20 participants will take part in 10 intensive weekend sessions — Saturdays and Sundays — from July 11 through August 9. The curriculum will cover hip-hop history, songwriting and production, stagecraft, and styling.
The program culminates with a Final Show on August 16 at Seongam Art Hall. The 20 participants will perform on stage in teams alongside their trainers. Choreographer Aiki will serve as MC, and rapper Now I’m Young will appear as a guest to boost the event’s energy.
Additional information about HIT IT BASE 2026 will be available on the BigHit Music audition website starting on the 18th.
