2026 Asian Pop Festival: Unveiling the Final Lineup with Kim Min-kyu and DJ Soulscape

Sounds from Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei and Busan converge on a single stage in Yeongjongdo. The Paradise Culture Foundation has released the final lineup for the Asian Pop Festival 2026 (APOPFE). The three artists added to the bill are Kim Min-kyu (Delispice, Sweetpea), DJ Soulscape and Sunwoo Jung-a.
The initial lineups, which featured Kim Chang-wan Band, Onuki Taeko and Noisegarden, leaned toward band-driven sounds and city pop. The final lineup, however, brings in a wave of electronic and hip-hop acts, broadening the festival’s musical range.
Kim Min-kyu first made his name as the guitarist and vocalist for Delispice, one of Korea’s first-generation indie rock bands. He led the album Espresso, which won Best Rock Album at the 2004 Korean Music Awards, and now records and performs as the solo project Sweetpea. DJ Soulscape is a first-generation hip-hop DJ who reinterprets Korea’s soul, funk and jazz legacy through modern hip-hop and electronic production; his debut album, 180g Beats, was named among Korea’s 100 greatest pop albums. Sunwoo Jung-a is a singer-songwriter who was named Musician of the Year and won Best Pop Album at the 2014 Korean Music Awards.
The midnight stage at premium club Chroma will feature an international roster: DJ Hasegawa Yohei (formerly of Jang Kiha and the Faces); SAX MACHINE, the solo project of Hao Ting Huang from Taipei indie outfit Sunset Rollercoaster; Mud the Student of Baming Tiger; and Japanese hip-hop tastemaker Kid Fresino.
Busan-based band Say Sue Me, which drew global attention after Elton John singled out their song “Old Town” on his radio show, is another highlight. Rising K-band act Hi‑Fi Unicorn and U.S. indie rock mainstays Deerhoof will also appear.
