[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] K-pop powerhouse Seventeen showcased a string of solo performances during their encore dates.
On the afternoon of April 5, the SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR ‘NEW_’ ENCORE stopped at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonhui-dong, Seo-gu. Tens of thousands of CARATs — the group’s devoted fandom — packed the venue across the two-day run.
On the night, Dino, Jun and Vernon each took center stage for solo numbers. Dino delivered \”Trigger,\” Jun performed \”Gemini,\” and Vernon sang \”Shining Star\” for the crowd. The group later reunited for full-band numbers including \”SOS,\” \”F*ck My Life\” and \”LOVE, MONEY, FAME.\”
Seungkwan quipped that nightfall signaled the start of the solo sets. \”I came forward because I was worried fans in the back couldn’t see,\” he said, adding that when they perform \”LMF\” the group brings its signature energy — \”it’s hip and sexy.\”
Mingyu reflected that beyond the flashy moments of \”LMF,\” Seventeen’s catalog also contains genuinely emotional songs. Seungkwan praised the earlier solos, saying, \”Dino, Jun and Vernon were great.\”
The group’s younger members also earned their seniors’ compliments. Jun praised Dino’s outfit; Dino responded by embracing Jun and thanking him on stage.
The solo sequence continued with Joshua performing \”Fortunate Change,\” Dokyeom offering \”Happy Virus,\” Seungkwan singing \”Raindrops,\” The8 delivering \”Skyfall,\” Mingyu with \”Shake It Off,\” and S.Coups closing the solo lineup with \”Jungle.\”
Seventeen won’t slow down after the encore. Subunit DxS (Dokyeom x Seungkwan) will open DxS \”Soyagok\” ON STAGE at Incheon Inspire Arena from April 17–19. Meanwhile, S.Coups x Mingyu, who already kicked off their own tour, will bring CxM \”DOUBLE UP\” LIVE PARTY to Kaohsiung Arena from April 24–26.
The full group will reconvene for a major fan event: Seventeen returns to Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on June 20–21 for the 2026 SVT 10TH FAN MEETING \”SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND.\”
