[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] The girl group KiiiKiii (Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) is taking its act to the international stage.
Starship Entertainment announced that KiiiKiii will perform on the 28th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, as part of the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Music & Arts Festival in TOKYO 2026. They will be the only K-pop girl group on the bill, a distinction that’s already drawing attention.
Organized by global hip-hop label 88rising, the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Music & Arts Festival brings together artists across hip-hop, R&B and pop. The festival has made stops in New York, Jakarta, Manila and Guangzhou, and this year marks its first edition in Japan. KiiiKiii’s place on the lineup underscores the group’s growing foothold in the global music market.
On this stage, KiiiKiii are expected to showcase solid live vocals and varied choreography to win over local fans. Their January single, “404 (New Era),” climbed both domestic and international charts, earned them three music show wins and secured their first monthly No. 1 since debut—milestones that have heightened expectations among international audiences.
Last August, KiiiKiii left a strong impression at Kansai Collection 2025 A/W at Kyocera Dome Osaka with their distinctive Gen Z appeal and high-energy performance. They were also the only K-pop girl group to appear at Music Expo Live 2025 at Tokyo Dome, and subsequently performed on multiple popular Japanese music programs. Major local outlets covered those appearances extensively, confirming the group’s rising profile in Japan.
As KiiiKiii continues to expand beyond Korea, fans are eager to see what new charms and performances the group will bring to this festival.
Meanwhile, the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS Music & Arts Festival in TOKYO 2026, featuring KiiiKiii, will take place on the 28th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
