All six tracks from the album, including “Dear My,” “Don’t Leave,” “Moonlit Mirage,” “Every Night,” and “Shine,” have successfully entered Melon’s HOT100 and latest releases charts, as well as Bugs and Genie’s real-time charts, signaling a strong start for the release.
‘Unloved Echo’ is a conceptual album inspired by the fading moments of love, akin to a movie’s final fade-out scene. The title track “Fade Away,” penned by Yang himself, showcases his deep, emotive vocals as he sings about a love slipping away. The music video teaser has already set high expectations with glimpses of dramatic performances.
During a countdown live broadcast on Highlight’s YouTube channel, Yang expressed his gratitude: “I’m deeply moved to return with a solo album after so long. Thank you to the fans for their patience and to my fellow members for their support.” He revealed that “Fade Away” was written with the hope of preserving those blissful, radiant moments of love a little longer in one’s heart.
Yang also impressed viewers with his appearance on Dingo Music’s ‘TEXTED’ series, where he delivered a captivating live rendition of “Fade Away,” demonstrating his exceptional vocal prowess and nuanced control. Fans have been showering praise in the comments, with remarks such as “His voice tells a mesmerizing story,” “It’s like a warm embrace at the end of a cold winter,” “A classical piece with a lingering impact, reminiscent of a film soundtrack,” and “Each listen makes me change my favorite track. All six songs are fantastic.”
This week, Yang Yoseob is set to make appearances on various music shows and content platforms to promote “Fade Away” and connect with his audience.
