Hong Ji-yoon made an appearance on ‘Current King of Masked Singer 3.’
The latest episode of MBN’s ‘Current King of Masked Singer 3,’ which aired on the 10th, featured an intense vocal showdown.
Hong Ji-yoon, now in her fifth year as a professional singer, suffered a defeat against Cha Ji-yeon in the first round of the main competition. Finding herself in a precarious 9th place after the initial round, Hong took to the stage for her second-round performance, choosing to sing Kim Ji-ae’s hit “Mr. You.”
Following her performance, one of the judges remarked, “Hong Ji-yoon, your rendition of ‘Han O Baek Nyun’ last time was truly memorable. Did you also create that outfit yourself?” Hong confirmed, “Yes, I did make it.” The judge continued with praise, “It’s absolutely stunning and charming. Your vocals flow effortlessly, and you seem to have an endless well of creativity when it comes to surprising us with your stage presentations.”
The celebrity judging panel awarded Hong an impressive 391 out of 450 points, securing her the third spot in the second round rankings.
