Yoon-Chan Lim’s Carnegie Hall Recitals: What to Expect from the Mozart Piano Sonata Performances

Pianist Yunchan Lim is set to perform a series of four recitals at New York’s prestigious Carnegie Hall through March of next year.
Carnegie Hall recently announced on its website that Lim will take the stage at the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage for four performances: October 21 and December 14 this year, followed by March 24 and May 11 next year (all dates local time).
For these Carnegie Hall concerts, Lim will perform the complete cycle of Mozart’s piano sonatas. His debut performance on October 21 will feature Mozart’s Piano Sonatas No. 1, 6, 8, and 12, along with the Fantasia.
Carnegie Hall noted that superstar pianist Yunchan Lim, who has already sold out three previous recitals, is returning to set a significant milestone with his complete performance of Mozart’s piano sonatas.
