Molly Yam & DIMO REX Unveil ‘DIMOLLY’: What to Expect from This Hip-Hop Power Duo?

Rising stars Molly Yam and DIMO REX are set to drop their collaborative EP “DIMOLLY” today at 6 PM across major streaming platforms.

This EP marks the debut of “DIMOLLY,” a fusion of the two artists’ unique styles. The duo recently teased fans with “Because Love Becomes Love” on their YouTube channel on the 6th, showcasing Molly Yam’s trendsetting flair and DIMO REX’s production prowess. The preview has already set the hip-hop community abuzz.

The title track, “You Drive Me Crazy,” is an emotive alternative R&B piece exploring the desperation to hold onto love in a deteriorating relationship. The artists’ distinctive vocal blend promises to strike a chord with listeners.

The EP boasts a diverse lineup of 4 tracks, including the high-octane rock-inspired “It’ll Be Okay,” the introspective emo hip-hop track “Because Love Becomes Love,” and the rule-breaking flex anthem “So Tonight,” demonstrating the duo’s versatility.

Molly Yam has been making waves on TikTok, amassing over 100 million views. She sparked the viral “Doochonk Cookie Challenge,” drawing comparisons between her black lipstick look and a popular dessert. This social media success has caught the attention of hip-hop heavyweights, leading to numerous collaboration offers and a recent agency deal with Bang Ye-dam’s label.

DIMO REX, Bang Ye-dam’s musical alter ego, continues to push boundaries. Following his fourth digital single last month, he’s been fostering collaborations and introducing the inclusive “Banger” culture to the Korean music scene.

Both artists have secured nominations for the upcoming 2026 Korean Hip-Hop Awards (KHA 2026) on the 11th, including nods for Rookie of the Year, Hip-Hop Track of the Year, R&B Track of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year.
