LE SSERAFIM Continues to Dominate Japanese Charts with “SPAGHETTI” K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM has once again made waves on the Japanese Oricon chart, solidifying their status as international powerhouses.
According to the latest Oricon chart data released on February 10, the group’s first single “SPAGHETTI” has claimed the top spot on the weekly single rankings for the week of February 2-8. This achievement comes three months after the single’s October release, showcasing the group’s enduring popularity and strong market presence. Notably, LE SSERAFIM is the first overseas female act to top this chart in three years, marking a significant milestone in the Japanese music scene.
This latest feat is particularly impressive as LE SSERAFIM has managed to surpass their own previous record. The group first topped the Oricon chart with their Japanese debut single “FEARLESS” in 2023, breaking a five-year drought for foreign female artists debuting at number one. With “SPAGHETTI” now replicating this success, LE SSERAFIM has further cemented their unique position in the competitive Japanese market.
The group’s recent world tour has played a crucial role in their ongoing success. LE SSERAFIM made their Tokyo Dome debut last November, drawing an impressive crowd of 80,000 fans over two nights. The quintet’s electrifying performances garnered widespread acclaim. Following this, their “LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ ENCORE IN SEOUL” on January 31 and February 1 was live-streamed globally via the fan platform Weverse. The concert attracted real-time viewership from fans across 57 countries and regions, including Japan, demonstrating the group’s international appeal. The buzz generated by these performances propelled “SPAGHETTI” to the top of the Oricon daily single rankings on February 2.
Looking ahead, LE SSERAFIM is set to make their debut appearance at Japan’s premier music festival, SUMMER SONIC 2026, scheduled for August 14-16. This high-profile event, which features a star-studded lineup of international artists, will see LE SSERAFIM showcase their dynamic performances in both Tokyo and Osaka.
