JTBC’s hit music variety show “Hidden Singer 8,” slated to air in the first half of this year, has finalized its star-studded lineup. Following Shim Soo-bong and Ha Hyun-woo, the show has secured Lee Seung-gi and Younha, two artists fans have long hoped to see on the program, creating what producers are calling an “unprecedented lineup.”
Lee Seung-gi, marking his 22nd year in the entertainment industry, has worn many hats as a singer, actor, and TV personality. However, he admits, “Singing is still what I love most.” Fans can expect to see this passion on full display during his “Hidden Singer 8” appearance. In a recently released teaser, Lee confidently encouraged impersonators to apply, quipping, “This season will be the most entertaining yet – because I’m in it!”
Younha, renowned for her “heavenly voice,” also made waves by directly urging potential impersonators to apply for the show. She shared key impersonation tips, including her signature emotional finishes and seamless transitions between head and chest voice. However, she jokingly expressed concern: “If the impersonators sound too much like me, won’t I get eliminated early? It’s impossible to predict what will happen.”
The production team expressed excitement about Lee Seung-gi and Younha’s participation. “Viewers will witness the true artistry of Lee Seung-gi, who has evolved from a high school singer to a beloved ‘ballad prince’ across generations, and Younha, cherished for her unique vocal color and nuanced expressions,” they stated.
