South Korea’s Defense Ministry said it sent a technical analysis team to Dubai on the night of May 13 to investigate last week’s strike on the HMM Namoo in the Strait of Hormuz. The ministry announced on May 14 that the team was dispatched to determine the cause and to conduct scientific analyses.Officials said the team will perform a detailed on-site inspection, analyze collected evidence and coordinate with relevant countries to establish the facts.
