[CBC News] Russia’s TASS reported April 9 (local time) that Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz under a ceasefire agreement with the United States but will strictly limit daily transits to no more than 15 vessels.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Press TV said Iranians took to the streets in Tehran and across the country to mark the 40th-day memorial for the martyrdom of Islamic Revolution leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, senior commanders and students from Minab.
Press TV reported mourners chanted slogans and listened to eulogies honoring the late leader. The outlet said marches were held in hundreds of cities and regions across Iran.
