Meanwhile, Song is set to star in the Netflix drama ‘Slowly, Intensely,’ slated to premiere later this year. The series, set against the often brutal and violent Korean entertainment industry of the 1960s through the 1980s, follows the coming-of-age of people who risked everything chasing dazzling success. Song plays Min-ja, a woman who, after a difficult life, throws herself into Korea’s music industry.
