[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Actor Kim Young-dae is set to begin his mandatory military service in April.
On the 25th, Outer Universe told Sports Today that Kim will enter active duty this April.
The agency did not disclose the exact date he will report to boot camp. He is scheduled to be discharged in October 2027.
In a recent interview following the finale of TVING’s Dear X, Kim said he expects to enlist early next year rather than late this year. He added that after completing his service he hopes to pursue roles he is passionate about and roles that play to his strengths.
Born in 1996 (age 30), Kim Young-dae appeared last year in MBC’s Friday–Saturday drama Let’s Go to the Moon and in TVING’s Dear X. He also recently appeared in Netflix’s Monthly Boyfriend.
