No tipping, no optional tours, no shopping — the “three no’s” let you actually enjoy the trip; aimed at travelers seeking upscale short-haul escapes
Ambassador Cruise — 1 night, 2 days; features gourmet dining, island hikes, boating and morning tai chi
[Herald Economy — By Hong Seok-hee] Kyowon Tour’s Travel-Easy has launched a premium package that combines Hanoi sightseeing with a Halong Bay luxury cruise.
Travel-Easy’s new “Hanoi & Halong Bay — 5 Days” package is centered in Hanoi and links directly to a luxury cruise experience in Halong Bay. Built around a no-tip, no-option, no-shopping promise, the itinerary is designed so guests can focus on memorable experiences rather than sales pitches.
Kyowon Tour developed the package to meet rising demand for high-end short-distance travel. The company says it plans to grow its premium lineup in Vietnam, where traveler preferences and repeat bookings are strong.
The itinerary includes two nights in Hanoi and one night aboard the cruise. The centerpiece is boarding the Halong Bay Ambassador Cruise. Guests spend one night and two days on board, exploring Halong Bay’s top sights.
On the cruise, travelers take in the dramatic limestone karsts of Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. The schedule also includes exploring Sung Sot Cave, trekking Ti Top Island, a boat experience around Hang Luong, and a visit to floating villages.
An onboard culinary program highlights a premium buffet, afternoon tea, a happy hour, and evening multi-course dinners. After dark, guests can try squid fishing and enjoy live-band performances; the next morning, there’s an optional tai chi session on deck.
In Hanoi, the package offers a stay at a five-star hotel and a full day of free time. Travelers can spend the day however they like, and round-trip airport-hotel transfers are included.
A Kyowon Tour spokesperson said, “By combining free time in Hanoi with a Halong Bay luxury cruise, we’ve strengthened the package’s appeal. As demand for premium short-haul travel grows, we’ll continue expanding our premium offerings.”
