MountainTV’s hiking variety show Ttakida! Hiking Club is back with a fresh lineup of personal stories and inside looks at hiking groups.
Ttakida! Hiking Club pairs people who have questions or concerns about hiking with the right clubs, all within a reality-format show. In this episode — the first installment since the show aired earlier this year — a beginner who’s nervous about hiking alone gets matched with a supportive group. Comedians Park Hyung-min and Lee Jae-hoon serve as hike coordinators: they listen to the participant’s worries and join them on the trail.
This episode follows an absolute novice who dreams of reaching the summit. The production team pairs them with the hiking club Mountain Hiker, chosen to help newcomers complete a hike safely. Mountain Hiker emphasizes zero dropouts and thoughtful accompaniment. On the show, members hike alongside the participant and share practical, easy-to-follow tips for first-time hikers.
The participant and Mountain Hiker head to Baegunsan on Yeongjongdo in Incheon. At 255.5 meters (about 838 ft), Baegunsan offers a gentle route close to the Seoul metropolitan area, making it a low-pressure, beginner-friendly option. The episode follows the trail from the fitness area to the helipad and up to the summit, highlighting smart safety strategies along the way.
Once you reach the top, the view opens up to Incheon city, Incheon Airport and the Incheon Bridge. A nearby lookout offers a full 360-degree panorama, which the show highlights as part of Baegunsan’s appeal as an easy weekend escape.
The episode airs Sunday the 24th at 6:30 p.m. on MountainTV. The network is also running a viewer participation event: viewers who post proof photos of watching the broadcast will be entered into weekly prize drawings over four weeks.
