The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee unveiled detailed schedules for 10 official Los Angeles World Cup 26 fan zones that will operate during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The fan zones will run across Los Angeles for 39 days, from June 18 through July 19. They’re designed to spread World Cup energy throughout the city after the official FIFA Fan Festival’s opening weekend at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, June 11–14.
Organizers are tapping a wide range of LA settings—beaches, parks, historic transit hubs, waterfronts, and neighborhood community spaces—so there’s something for every vibe. Fans can watch live broadcasts of key matches at each zone, from the group stage through the semis and the final. The Original Farmers Market will screen major group-stage matchups like Mexico vs. South Korea, while Los Angeles Union Station will show international fixtures such as the U.S. vs. Turkey.
Each fan zone features family-friendly soccer activity zones, interactive games, beer gardens, food trucks, live music and DJ sets, plus LA-inspired art programs. Venice Beach, West Harbor, and downtown Burbank will host fan events centered on the tournament’s later rounds and the final. Some locations will offer VIP packages and themed match-day experiences, with a mix of free community events and ticketed programs.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board will stage the city’s signature summer celebration, the 2026 Sun Life Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, for 13 days from June 19 to July 1. Marking its 50th anniversary, this year’s festival will span the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront promenade and venues across Hong Kong. What began in 1976 in Shau Kei Wan has grown into a flagship summer event and an official Asian Games sport.
The main races take place over two days, June 27–28, in Victoria Harbour. About 220 teams from 16 countries and territories, including South Korea, will race decorated dragon boats to the beat of drums. The Hong Kong Tourism Board says the program—packed with thrilling races and hands-on activities—will showcase how tradition and modernity come together and reinforce Hong Kong’s reputation as Asia’s events capital.
During the festival, Tsim Sha Tsui’s Avenue of Stars and Salisbury Garden will host traditional-culture experiences, VR dragon-boat simulations, live performances, intangible cultural heritage workshops, and traditional crafts sessions. A Dragon Boat Food Lane and Beer Garden will serve Hong Kong street food and festival bites, and visitors can enjoy complimentary beer and zongzi (traditional rice dumplings). A 22m dragon-boat display, photo zones, and linked events in Tai O, Stanley, Aberdeen, Sai Kung, and Sha Tin will round out the festivities.
