The Public — Reporter Oh Hong-ji: Cheongju City announced on the 21st that it is recruiting 300 participants for its May rural experience program, “Honey-Fun Alert.”
The program is part of the Farm Stop Tour and was created in partnership with Nonghyup Networks to give urbanites more hands-on opportunities to experience farming.
Activities will be held at Cheongju’s rural experience farms and include bee-ecology lessons, honeycomb tastings, and mini garden workshops.
Sessions run every weekend in May and on the public holidays (May 5 and 25), from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Groups of 3–4 people can apply as a package through NH All One Bank’s “Today Travel” service.
