Hana Tour is teaming up with H.I.S., Japan’s leading travel company, tapping into H.I.S.’s on-the-ground Hawaii network to offer customers more personalized travel experiences.

Last year, Hana Tour and H.I.S. signed a strategic partnership, pledging to build a “next-generation tourism community” by combining their global networks, hotel and airline operations, and digital capabilities.
This Hawaii collaboration is the first tangible outcome of that partnership. By giving Hana Tour customers equal access to H.I.S.’s core Hawaii infrastructure, the company has boosted on-the-ground convenience and strengthened its service competitiveness.
Under the collaboration, Hana Tour customers can use the same core Hawaii services H.I.S. operates. They can hop on the LeaLea Trolley—the largest trolley network in Hawaii—to travel easily between Waikiki hubs, big shopping centers, and popular sights. They can also unwind at the LeaLea Lounge in central Waikiki, where they’ll find comfy seating, local travel tips, and concierge assistance.
Crucially, these perks aren’t limited to packaged tours—independent travelers (FITs) can access them as well. Hana Tour says the move will broaden its appeal across different traveler groups and cement its service edge in the Hawaii travel market.
