Unlock Exclusive Airport Access: How LoungeKey Pass Enhances Your Travel Experience in 2026

Collinson International, the company behind Priority Pass, said on April 8 that it’s beefing up its LoungeKey Pass solution for the South Korean market.
Eligible customers can use the digital pass to access more than 1,800 airport lounges, wellness centers, sleep pods, and dining options across over 832 airports worldwide.
LoungeKey Pass is a digital, voucher-style airport benefit that works without extra enrollment or a physical card. It gives one-time access to premium airport lounges and other travel experiences, and can be integrated into card issuers’ existing digital platforms—like mobile banking apps or wallet apps such as Apple Wallet—so issuers can offer it as a reward or tie it to card-use requirements.

This upgrade responds to strong local demand for travel perks. Collinson’s survey found that 44% of Korean cardholders say they get rewards through travel benefits tied to their payment cards, and 47% feel those perks give them a more special experience. Even more striking: 91% said they’d be likelier to use a card for everyday spending if it offered travel rewards or benefits.
Airport lounge access stands out as one of the perks Korean consumers value most. According to the survey, 80% of travelers have used an airport lounge, and 56% said lounge access provided by their payment card improved their overall airport experience.
The enhanced LoungeKey Pass is designed for the Korean market and will complement the global Priority Pass program. Card issuers can package lounge access as a reward based on card spending, loyalty points, or minimum-spend thresholds—encouraging more frequent use and larger transaction sizes.
Shinhan Card is the first domestic issuer to adopt LoungeKey Pass. Since March, eligible customers have been able to access 1,800+ airport lounges and other travel services through the Shinhan SOL Pay app, using a QR code for quick entry and viewing lounge visit details right in the app.
