At Usuyeong Plaza, families can enjoy interactive historical activities like trying on a general’s armor for photos, ink‑rubbing (takbon) workshops, straw‑craft sessions, and building model panokseon warships.

Usuyeong Tourist Site marks the victorious ground of the Battle of Myeongnyang, where Admiral Yi Sun‑sin defeated 133 Japanese ships with 13 vessels during the Jeongyu Rebellion. The Uldolmok strait, about 1 km wide, lies between Haenam and Jindo.
