Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province is rolling out an interactive stamp tour to energize local tourism.
The county said on the 25th it will run the \”Gapyeong Nooks-and-Crannies Stamp Tour\” for visitors from outside the county through Nov. 30.
Participants collect stamps by visiting major attractions across the area. Gather a set number of stamps and you can claim a souvenir.
The 20 participating attractions include The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France, Begonia New Garden, Swiss Theme Park, Jeokmok Yongso, and the Unaksan suspension bridge.
To join, pick up a leaflet at the tourist information center or at any participating site, stamp the map on the back, and submit it online using the QR code.
Visitors who collect three or more stamps will receive a coffee gift coupon.
The county is also running a monthly contest that awards a chicken gift coupon to participants whose photos posted on social media are selected.
\”We hope the stamp tour gives visitors a chance to experience Gapyeong’s charms and inspires them to explore the region,\” a county official said.
